I've always wanted to excel in convert decimals into fractions formula, it seems like there's a lot that can be done with it that I can't do otherwise. I've browsed the internet for some good learning resources, and consulted the local library for some books, but all the information seems to be targeted at people who already understand the subject. Is there any tool that can help new students as well?

You might want to try out Algebra Professor. I bought it some time back to help me with my Intermediate algebra course and I can say that it was a good choice. There are so many examples present which you can go through. You can also try out the questions related to trigonometry and equivalent fractions by just typing them in. I totally agree, Algebra Professor is the best! I am much better in algebra now, and I have the best grades in the class! It helped me even with the most challenging math problems, like those on exponential equations or distance of points. I definitely think you should try it .

I remember having difficulties with function range, converting fractions and reducing fractions. Algebra Professor is a truly great piece of math software. I have used it through several algebra classes - Basic Math, Remedial Algebra and Basic Math. I would simply type in the problem and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
