Hello there I have almost taken the decision to look fora math tutor, because I've been having a lot of stress due to algebra homework lately. Every day when I come home from school I wasteall my time with my math homework, and after all the time spent I still seem to be getting the wrong answers. However I'm also not certain if a algebra tutor is worth it, since it's very costly, and who knows, maybe it's not even that good. Does anyone know anything about dummit foote solution book that can help me? Or maybe some explanations about equivalent fractions,linear algebra or evaluating formulas? Any suggestions will be valued.

It always feels good when I hear that students are willing to put that extra effort into their education. dummit foote solution book is not a very difficult subject and you can easily do some initial work yourself. As a useful tool, I would advise that you get a copy of Algebra Professor. This tool is quite handy when doing math yourself.

I used Algebra Professor too, especially in Intermediate algebra. It helped me a great deal, and you won't believe how easy it is to use! It solves the exercise and it also describes everything step by step. Better than a teacher!

I remember having difficulties with dividing fractions, y-intercept and graphing circles. Algebra Professor is a truly great piece of algebra software. I have used it through several math classes - Basic Math, Intermediate algebra and Intermediate algebra. I would simply type in the problem and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
