Hi All, I am in need of assistance on function composition, interval notation, parallel lines and point-slope. Since I am a newbie to College Algebra, I really want to understand the fundamentals of Intermediate algebra fully. Can anyone suggest the best place from where I can start reading the fundamental principles? I have a class test next week.

Due to health reasons you may have not been able to attend a few lectures at school, but what if I can you can have your own little classroom, in your house? In fact, right on the laptop that you are working on? All of us have missed some classes at some point or the other during our life, but thanks to Algebra Professor I’ve never missed much. Just like a teacher would explain in the class, Algebra Professor solves our problems and gives us a detailed description of how it was answered. I used it basically to get some help on answers to middle school math with pizzazz and distance of points. But it works well for just about everything you can think of.

I must agree that Algebra Professor is a cool thing and the best software of this kind you can find. I was astonished when after weeks of frustration I simply typed in inverse matrices and that was the end of my difficulties with algebra. It's also so good that you can use the software for any level: I have been using it for several years now, I used it in Algebra 1 and in Pre Algebra too! Just try it and see it for yourself!

Hello again. Thanks a ton for the beneficial advice. I normally never trust math tools; however, this piece of software seems worth trying. Can I get a link to it?

I remember having problems with absolute values, decimals and rational inequalities. Algebra Professor is a really great piece of math software. I have used it through several math classes - Basic Math, Intermediate algebra and Algebra 2. I would simply type in the problem and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
