nonlinear equations + matlab is my biggest problem. Can any one assist me understand it? I am a beginner at it. What book or other resource do you suggest for starting this subject?

Interesting! I don’t have that much time to hire somebody to teach me so I think this would be just fine. Is this something bought from a store? Do they have a site so that I can see more details about it?

You can buy it from http://www.algebra-net.com/index.html. I don’t think there are too many software requirements; you can just download and start using it.

A extraordinary piece of math software is Algebra Professor. Even I faced similar difficulties while solving multiplying matrices, powers and graphing equations. Just by typing in the problem from homeworkand clicking on Solve – and step by step solution to my math homework would be ready. I have used it through several algebra classes - Remedial Algebra, Algebra 2 and Pre Algebra. I highly recommend the program.
