I just discovered that I have hardly any time left in tackling some issues with practice workbook prentice hall pre-algebra. I had kept it pending hoping that I will come upon excellent learning resources or somebody who can lend a hand with linear equations, side-side-side similarity and converting decimals. May be, I did not explore hard enough. But now I am overdue. It is simply difficult to find an excellent tutor to quickly tutor me. It is beyond what I can manage to pay for. And I need to find a fast way out. Can anybody who has had the same problem tell me as to what I can do? It will be a huge help.

I remember having difficulties with radical equations, monomials and trigonometry. Algebra Professor is a truly great piece of math software. I have used it through several math classes - Pre Algebra, Algebra 2 and Pre Algebra. I would simply type in the problem and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
