Hi math wizards! I require some aid to solve this completing the square if a is negative which I’m unable to do on my own. My test on math is due and I need guidance to work on function domain, graphing function and equation properties . I’m also thinking of hiring a math tutor but they are expensive. So I would be greatly appreciative if you can extend some guidance in solving the problem.

That is true , there are programs that can help you with study. I think there are several ones that help you solve math problems, but I heard that Algebra Professor is the best amongst them. I used the software when I was a student in Pre Algebra for helping me with completing the square if a is negative, and it never failed me since then. Gradually I understood all the topics, and soon I was able to solve the hardest of the exercises alone. Don't worry; you won't have any problem using it. It was designed for students, so it's simple to use. Basically you just have to type in the topic that's all .Of course you should use it to learn math, not just copy the results, because you won't learn that way.

Algebra Professor is rightly a good software program that helps to deal with algebra problems. I remember facing troubles with converting fractions, rational expressions and unlike denominators.
