non-algebraic expressions is my worst problem. Can some one assist me understand it? I am a novice at it. What book or other resource do you suggest for starting this subject?

I possibly could help you if you can be more specific and give more details about non-algebraic expressions. A good computer program would be ideal rather than a costly math tutor. After trying a number of software I found the Algebra Professor to be the best I have so far come across. It solves any algebra problem that you may want solved. It also shows all the steps (of the solution). You can just copy it as your homework assignment. However, you should use it to learn algebra, and simply not use it to copy answers.

When I was in school, I faced similar problems with hypotenuse-leg similarity, multiplying fractions and logarithms. But this superb Algebra Professor helped me through all my Intermediate algebra, Algebra 1, and Algebra 2. I simply typed in a problem from my workbook, and step by step solution to my math homework would appear on the screen by simply clicking on Solve. I truly recommend the Algebra Professor.

I do not acknowledge about a trial version, but the official providers of Algebra Professor, as opposed to other suppliers of imitation software programs, provide an out-and-out money back warranty. And So, you can acquire the legitimate edition, examine it and return it if you are not gratified by the operation and functionality. Although I surmise you are gonna love this software, I am interested in hearing from you or anyone should there be something where the program doesn't excel. I do not wish to advocate Algebra Professor for something it cannot perform. Only the next problem found will in all probability be the first one!
