rules to adding subtracting dividing multiplying whole numbers is my biggest problem. Can some one assist me understand it? I am a beginner at it. What book or other resource do you suggest for beginning this subject?

You seem to be more horrified than confused. First you need to control your senses. Do not panic. Sit back, relax and look at the books with an open mind. They will seem tough if you think they are tough. rules to adding subtracting dividing multiplying whole numbers can be easily understood and you can solve almost every equation with the help of Algebra Professor. So chill.

Hai guys and girls, Thanks a ton for all your responses. I shall surely give Algebra Professor at http://www.algebra-net.com/faq-resources.html a try and would keep you posted with my experience. The only thing I am particular about is the fact that the tool should give enough assistance on Algebra 2 which in turn would help me to complete my assignment before the deadline.

Algebra Professor is the program that I have used through several algebra classes - College Algebra, Algebra 2 and Pre Algebra. It is a truly a great piece of algebra software. I remember of going through difficulties with graphing equations, binomials and graphing function. I would simply type in a problem homework, click on Solve – and step by step solution to my algebra homework. I highly recommend the program.
