I've always wanted to learn ti-89 quadratic formula, it seems like there's a lot that can be done with it that I can't do otherwise. I've searched the internet for some useful learning tools, and consulted the local library for some books, but all the information seems to be directed to people who already know the subject. Is there any resource that can help new students as well?

Algebra Professor is a very great product and is certainly worth a try. You will also find lot of interesting stuff there. I use it as reference software for my math problems and can swear that it has made learning math much more fun.
