Hi there I have almost taken the decision to look fora math tutor, because I've been having a lot of problems with algebra homework lately. each time when I come home from school I wastehours and hours with my algebra homework, and after all the time spent I still seem to be getting the wrong answers. However I'm also not completely sure if a math private teacher is worth it, since it's so expensive, and who knows, maybe it's not even so good. Does anyone know anything about solving equations by multiplying and adding that can help me? Or maybe some explanations about like denominators, adding numerators or syntehtic division? Any ideas will be much appreciated.

The attitude you’ve adopted towards the solving equations by multiplying and adding is not the right one. I do understand that one can’t really think of anything else in such a scenario. Its good that you still want to try. My key to successful problem solving is Algebra Professor I would advise you to give it a try at least once.
