Hi, I am a senior in high school and need major help in what is a prentice hall algbra 1 book. My math grades are awful and I have decided to do something about it. I am looking for some software that will allow me to enter a problem and gives detailed step by step solution; basically it must take me through the entire thing. I really need to improve my grades so please help me out.

You don’t need to ask anyone to solve any sample questions for you; as a matter of fact all you need is Algebra Professor. I’ve tried quite a few such math simulation software but Algebra Professor is way better than most of them. It’ll solve any question that you have and it’ll even explain each and every step involved in reaching that solution. You can work out as many examples as you would like to, and unlike us human beings, it would never say, Oh! I’ve had enough for the day! ;) Even I had some problems in solving questions on parallel lines and radicals, but this software really helped me get over those.

Interesting! I don’t have that much time to hire somebody to teach me so I think this would be just fine. Is this something bought from a store? Do they have a website so that I can see more details regarding it?

I remember having problems with gcf, algebraic signs and exponent rules. Algebra Professor is a truly great piece of math software. I have used it through several algebra classes - Pre Algebra, Algebra 2 and Remedial Algebra. I would simply type in the problem and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
