Friends, I am in need of help on converting fractions, long division, hyperbolas and triangle similarity. Since I am a novice to Basic Math, I really want to understand the basics of Intermediate algebra completely. Can anyone suggest the best resource with which I can start learning the fundamental principles? I have the final next week.

I maybe able to help you if you can be more specific and give more details about polynomial function in variable . A right computer program would be best option rather than a costly math tutor. After trying a number of software I found the Algebrator to be the best I have so far found. It solves any algebra problem that you may want solved. It also explains all the steps (of the solution). You can just copy it as your homework assignment. However, you should use it to learn math, and simply not use it to copy answers.

The thing is that even I like this software and it can’t be put in words as to how much it helped me when I thought all was lost before my previous term exams. I got hold of Algebrator just before my exams and it helped me score really well in my exams. The fact that it explains in detail every step that needs to be carried out for solving a variety of distinct problems, really helped me.
