It was hard for me to sit with my son and helping him with his math homework after a long day at office. Even he could not concentrate. Finally we got him this software and it seems we found a permanent solution. I am grateful that we found it.

My son was always coaxing me to keep a tutor for doing algebra homework. Then, a friend of mine told me about this software 'Algebra Professor'. Initially, I was a bit hesitant as I was having apprehension about its lack of human interaction which usually a tutor has. However, I asked my son to give it a try. And, I was quite surprised to find that he developed liking of this software. I can not tell why as I am not from math background and I have forgotten my school algebra. But, I can see that my son is comfortable with the subject now.

I think the program is tremendous. We have only been using it a week, but it has already paid for itself. We are currently using it to "check" homework assignment on a child struggling in Algebra 2 in High School. I set it to save "99" steps and we can see every step of the solution. The explanations at each step are invaluable, since it has been many years since my Algebra days. We haven't had a problem yet it couldn't solve. It is pretty user friendly, and, as long as you enter the problem correctly, there are no problems. Next year we have another child starting High School and Algebra 1. I will be looking forward to the next release of the Algebra Professor. It is great!
